The Table

Key Scripture Passage – Psalm 23

“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Amen.”

Theme Focus –

The Table we are invited to is the Lord’s Table. At this table is communion with God and fellowship with all the people who come as well. The Table calls us to remember who makes the invitation list to the dinner, where we should sit, and our tables manners with other guests. Ultimately, we gather at the table for the Lord’s Supper, the Eucharist. The meal that God provides is one of redemption and communion.
